WE EXTEND A SPECIAL INVITATION TO YOU

On a warm Summer day in July of 1896 a small group of believers gathered beneath the shade of a grove of tall cedar trees, surrounded by cotton fields just south of a small hamlet called Greenville in East Texas. They met that day to lay the foundation for a new house of worship which would be called Cedar Grove Baptist Church. For over 118 years our church has been a sanctuary and a center of worship for people of all walks of life. Though many things have changed, a group of wonderful people still gathers on this same piece of ground each week to lift our voices and our praise to the King of Kings.

The family of believers at Cedar Grove gladly offer you a special invitation, encouraging you to join us as we worship Jesus Christ and strengthen our fellowship with Bible-based preaching and teaching.

Cedar Grove Baptist church is filled with a group of people who love to gather to worship just like their predecessors did so long ago. Visitors to our church today experience a membership full of love, acceptance and friendship.

Our members strive each week to fulfill our church credo which declares we are a 'Loving, Caring, Friendly church'. Pastor says 'we'll treat you so many ways..you're bound to like one or two of them.'

DEAF Ministry available each Sunday morning worship service. We welcome all hearing impaired at Cedar Grove.

CEDAR GROVE UNIVERSITY

Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. We take an in-depth journey into God's word. 'Bible Study' has been upgraded!' Pastor Wayne delivers powerful teaching each week. Come join us. We'll save you a seat.
